This is an early map of Georgia from 1842 that covers the state in great detail featuring the major roads, the Chattanooga to Savannah Railroad and Forts Walker and Gilmer in the Okefinokee Swamp.

Legend keys to the capital, towns, canals, and railroads. This map was originally produced by Morse and Breese and did not come into general usage until the latter part of the nineteenth century.

When ordering a frame make sure you order it UN-assembled otherwise you could get dinged with an over sized shipping charge depending on the size frame. Assembling a frame is very easy and takes no more than 5-10 minutes and some glue. We recommend purchasing glass or plexi from your local hardware store or at a frame shop.
